AsF is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to spread the chess, this beautiful art-science, promoting cultural exchange, actions against ignorance, opening paths to knowledge, encouraging open-mindedness and sharing ideas, emotions and passion with other citizens of the world.
We believe that chess deepens values like respect and cooperation, and it improves the human condition by understanding the others.
Our goal is building bridges and create a viable scenario in places particularly affected by misfortune, such as refugee camps, prisons, orphanages, etc.
